Multi-Tiered System of Support

What is Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)?
MTSS is a student support system that guides schools in order to help improve the performance of ALL students.
Through this process, student needs are identified early allowing modifications to happen quickly to make sure all students are
    well-served.
MTSS utliizes a systematic problem-solving model in order to ensure fidelity and analyze multiple pieces of data to determine how all
    students are responding to instruction.
MTSS is a team effort between school, teacher, community, and parents in order to appropriately meet the academic, behavioral,
or social-emotional needs of all students. It is important that parents and teachers communicate about the progress of the child.
Whenever possible, parents should make suggestions about strategies and interventions based on what they provide at home.
